Starfield launches November 11, 2022 on Xbox and PC, trailer out

The highly anticipated next major role-playing game of Bethesda Game Studios finally got a reveal today at the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase. Bethesda"s Todd Howard himself debuted the game. Find the brand-new trailer with in-engine footage above. Alongside it, the game also received a launch date, and in true Bethesda fashion, it launches November 11, 2022, or 11-11-22.

The trailer shows off a spaceship parked on an unknown planet before a pressurized suit wearing individual (probably our protagonist) prepares to take off. Constellation seems to be the name of the space faring group our protagonist is a part of.

The title is being developed on Creation Engine 2, and just going by the visuals, the upgrades seem substantial over previous games like Fallout 4 and 76. Leaving behind the Tamriel and the Capital Wasteland, the new universe born out of the studio takes players to space in an adventure set 100s of years in the future.

Starfield will be an Xbox platform exclusive, with it coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox cloud play systems, leaving behind both last-gen consoles and the PlayStation platform. It will also be a day one Xbox Game Pass title much like every other experience coming out of Microsoft-owned studios.
