Steam and other sites launch holiday PC game sales

We are still two days away from "Black Friday 2012" but that isn"t stopping a bunch of PC game download sites from launching their annual holiday sales events well ahead of Friday.

Valve"s Steam service has the biggest such sale by far, and a bunch of their games now have deep price cuts. Just a few current examples are XCOM: Enemy Unknown for 33 percent off, The Walking Dead for 50 percent off and the two Operation Flashpoint games for 75 percent off. Keep in mind that many of these sales will end between now and November 26th, to be replaced by others.

GoG.com has an interesting sale event. It has 20 games listed and users can pick five of those games from that list and then pay just $10 for all five games. Some of the games available for the picking include Torchlight, Alan Wake: American Nightmare and Trine.

GamersGate.com has a number of game bundles that are on sale for between 50 to 75 percent off this week. They include a bundle of Tomb Raider games for just $30.

Amazon.com also has a ton of PC game downloads discounted this week, including Aliens Vs Predator for $3.99 and Blacklight: Tango Down for a mere $1.25.
