Since its initial kick-off earlier this year, the returning Steam Game Festival events have delivered gaming trade show-like experiences with hordes of demos available to try out. Valve has now brought the indie game discovery-focused event back for an Autumn Edition, and it is slated to keep its doors open until October 13.
As with previous events, the Autumn Edition is offering everyone access to demos from upcoming games that are set to be released in the next six months or so. Both time-limited demos of larger experiences and dedicated demos just for showcasing mechanics and features of these titles are available for download.
The landing page for the event can be found here, which has a rotation of featured demos, recommended sections based on user tastes, an event schedule for developer interactions - livestreams and QnA sessions -, plus some helpful genre categories for sorting through the hundreds of available experiences.
Sticking to the trade-show theme, keep in mind that many of these demos from the Steam Game Festival Autumn Edition will stop being available once October 13 passes by, providing Steam users less than a week to try out and follow any interesting games they find.
