Steam has once again opened its Halloween Sale doors, bringing discounts for a good chunk of its wares and putting the spotlight on spooky events games are hosting to celebrate the season. As always, it"s not just horror or atmospheric titles on sale during the promotion, with other big names — from the non-horror section — also joining in to offer bargains.
Head to the freshened up 2021 Steam Halloween Sale hub page to browse games based on the theme, find recommendations from Steam algorithms, and check out titles running Halloween events for its players.
To highlight a few sales, Phasmophobia, Amnesia Rebirth, Metro Exodus, Black Mesa, Control, Death Stranding, Outlast 2, and Walking Dead Saints & Sinners have all received price cuts alongside regular titles like Deathloop, Cyberpunk 2077, Ghostrunner, Code Vein, and Disco Elysium. The discounts don"t always seem to be displaying correctly on the hub, but heading directly to their store pages will unveil the correct pricing.
Aside from the discounts, the Steam Points Store has another wave of Halloween items to claim, from ominous animated stickers and avatars to profile decorations.
Once the Halloween Sale goes into hibernation on November 1 until next year, Valve has two more major Steam sales planned for 2021. The store"s Autumn Sale will kick off on November 24 followed by the biggest of the bunch Winter Sale on December 22.
