Valve has been continually hosting Steam events where indie developers can show off their upcoming wares to the massive audience using the PC storefront, akin to an old-school in-person trade show. Dubbed Steam Next Fest, the demo festival has now returned for another round of showcases.
The latest run of Steam Next Fest will keep its doors open for a week. Its hub area can be seen here, which brings together handy genre and sub-genre selection tabs for the hundreds of games with demos available for better discoverability.
There are also "Trending" and "Most Wishlisted Upcoming Games" lists available at the bottom of the genre pages to quickly find popular games without having to browsing too much.
Among the demos, the latest project of Hello Games, The Last Campfire, is also present with a slice of its experience. Other interesting looking demos include MythBusters: The Game, Robin Hood - Sherwood Builders, Starship Troopers - Terran Command, ANNO: Mutationem, Tunic, and many others.
Livestreams from developers will continuously run while the event is active, which is slated to close at 10AM PT on October 7.
