Summer Game Fest, the recently introduced digital games festival by the host and creator of The Game Awards Geoff Keighley, is set cast a spotlight on upcoming indie and AAA games through two events. These Summer Game Fest Developer Showcases are slated to kick off on June 22 and July 20.

The events will be curated by the Day of the Devs team - made up of individuals from Double Fine and iam8bit - and Geoff Keighley, with the showcase livestreams slated to bring in news, gameplay, and videogame musical performances.

The organizers name-dropped Akupara Games, Annapurna Interactive, The Behemoth, Finji, Kowloon Nights, Longhand Electric, MWM Interactive, Panic, Sabotage Studio, Skybound Games, Team17, thatgamecompany, Tribute Games, and ustwo games as an initial group of participants for the showcases, with more being revealed later as the roster increases. Indie developers interested in joining the festivities can also submit their games for review over here.

The June and July set events will be available for viewing via all major streaming platforms as well as through the official website of Summer Game Fest. So far, the digital festival has been the platform for Tony Hawk"s Pro Skater 1 and 2, Unreal Engine 5, and Valorant"s release date announcements.
