Sunset Overdrive may be incoming to PC, as it's gotten a rating in Korea

Sunset Overdrive, the Xbox One exclusive action title, could finally be getting a PC release. Spotted by Gematsu, the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has a new rating on its website for "Sunset Overdrive PC".

The Insomniac Games-developed open-world title released back in 2014 to positive reviews. The game takes place in a highly colorful future where a contaminated energy drink has caused most humans to transform into monsters, and players are tasked with cleaning up the mess by using their parkour skills and all kinds of firepower. The release was followed by two expansion packs.

However, even if this listing is accurate and a PC port is in development, since the developer is currently working on the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive Spider-Man game, it"s unlikely that the studio has returned to work on a port. It may be that another developer has taken over that responsibility.

Obviously, no official announcements or confirmations from either Microsoft or Insomniac Games have been made yet, so take this rating with a pinch of salt. If there is an announcement on the horizon, it arriving during an E3 presentation next month is a possibility.
