SuperFan Studio is a new no-code service to create your own AR filters

Superfan Studio, an Indian augmented reality (AR) startup, has launched a marketplace that connects individuals and brands to a huge network of curated AR creators from around the world to create AR and mixed reality experiences.

Billed as Canva for AR (Canva is a popular graphic design platform to help non-designers create visual content), the no-code, browser-based tool comes with 100+ pre-made templates to create AR experiences. These templates are across categories like retail, food, entertainment, education, healthcare, etc. and you can personalize these filters with your logos and creatives. These can then be exported and published across Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook within minutes.

Superfan Studio aims to be a one-stop creation, distribution, and amplification platform for AR since it is still unattainable for the majority of people because of lack of expertise or prohibitive costs of outsourced development. Behind the scenes, Superfan Studio curates pre-packaged AR experiences using WebAR and WebXR from verified, expert creators while enabling them to monetize their work on the platform.

The service is targeted towards brands, influencers as well as marketing agencies exploring AR to engage with their audience. While there is a $14.99/month subscription for individuals, the basic plan for brands comes at $99.99/month.
