Surface Laptop 4 reportedly coming April 27, specs and price leaked

Surface Laptop 3

Microsoft"s Surface Laptop 4 has been leaked multiple times at this point, so we have a pretty good idea of what it"ll be like, including how it will pack the newest Intel processors but last-gen AMD ones. Now, a new leak from German website WinFuture has given us a clear look at pretty much everything there is to know.

The leak confirms that there will be both Intel and AMD variants of the Surface Laptop 4, and this time, both sizes will offer choices from both Intel and AMD, rather than AMD being exclusive to the 15-inch model. Intel variants will have either the Core i5-1145G7 or the Core i7-1185G7, while AMD-powered models will feature the Ryzen 5 4680U Surface Edition, or the Ryzen 7 4980U Surface Edition.

The 13.5-inch model will offer a 2256x1504 resolution, while the 15-inch variant will come with a 2496x1664 display, both resulting in a 201ppi in the usual 3:2 aspect ratio. They will pack up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, though that maximum configuration will also be exclusive to Intel variants. In fact, there"s also a list of configurations that will be available along with their European pricing. Here"s what to expect:

Display size CPU RAM Storage Price
13.5-inch Intel Core i5 8GB 512GB €1,499
13.5-inch Intel Core i5 16GB 512GB €1,699*
13.5-inch Intel Core i7 16GB 512GB €1,899
13.5-inch AMD Ryzen 5 8GB 256GB €1,149
13.5-inch AMD Ryzen 5 16GB 256GB €1,399
15-inch Intel Core i7 16GB 512GB €1,999
15-inch Intel Core i7 32GB 1TB €2,699*
15-inch AMD Ryzen 7 8GB 256GB €1,499
15-inch AMD Ryzen 7 8GB 512GB €1,699
15-inch AMD Ryzen 7 16GB 512GB €1,899

These are just the configurations that WinFuture has been able to find, so it"s possible others will also be available. Some of the prices were also spotted in different European countries that don"t use the Euro, so a couple of the prices listed above are a direct conversion from other currencies and may not be completely accurate.

Finally, the report also mentions a 6,513mAh/49Wh battery and support for all the stuff you"d expect from a Surface device. Surface Connect, Window Hello, Surface Pen, and Surface Dial. The purported release date is April 27, so we shouldn"t have long to wait to learn all of this from an official source.
