Surface Pro 3 gets firmware updates to improve security and fix Device Manager

If you"ve got a Surface Pro 3, it"s time to check for updates, as there"s some new firmware rolling out. the trio of updates are aimed at improving system security and fixing the Device Manager error state. The updates are exclusive to Surface Pro 3 devices that are on the Windows 10 Creators Update (version 1703) or greater, so if you stuck with Windows 8.1, you won"t get them.

Microsoft first announced the Surface Pro 3 on May 20, 2014. That means that the company has been supporting the Haswell-based tablet for nearly four and a half years. Surely, the company can be commended for supporting a device with new firmware for so long.
