At the beginning of this month, Microsoft finally released the Surface Pro with Advanced LTE, which it promised to do earlier this year. While it"s still only available for business customers - consumers will be able to buy it next year - the company has released the device"s first series of driver and firmware updates.
Most of the updates are from Qualcomm and focus on the GPS, but there"s also a UEFI firmware update. All of them focus on improving system styability. Here"s the full changelog:
Windows Update History Name | Device Manager Name |

According to Microsoft"s Value Indicator chart, today"s updates improve on reliability and compatibility, with no effect on security and connectivity. Interestingly, performance and battery life aren"t listed at all, as they usually are.
