Microsoft announced today that customers in India can now purchase the Surface Pro X, Pro 7, and Laptop 3. The Surface devices were unveiled in the U.S. late last year.
The Pro X 2-in-1 laptop rocks a 13-inch edge-to-edge PixelSense display and is powered by a custom ARM processor called the Microsoft SQ1 that"s based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device supports LTE connectivity and dual 4K video output via USB-C. Its Alcantara-covered keyboard houses the Surface Slim Pen. Microsoft also claims its battery life can last up to 13 hours, with a fast charging capability that can juice up the device to 80% in an hour. The Pro X retails for ₹98,999 (approximately $1,308), available in matte black only.
The Pro 7 features an upgraded chipset with the latest quad-core, 10th generation Intel Core processor. It also sports a 12.3-inch PixelSense display, with options to connect to more screens through a selection of USB-A, USB-C and Surface Connect ports. The device is available at a starting price of ₹72,999 (approximately $965) with Core i3, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It tops out at ₹141,999 (approximately $1,877) with Core i7, 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It comes in matte black and platinum color variants.
The Laptop 3 comes in two sizes, 13.5 and 15 inches. The 13.5-inch variant is powered by a 10th Generation Intel Core processor while the 15-inch model features a custom AMD processor. It also has the same fast charging capability as the Pro X, with support for USB-C and USB-A ports. The device (in platinum and matte black) is available starting at ₹98,999 for the 13.5-inch model with Core i5 and 8GB/128GB memory configuration. The 15-inch costs ₹116,999 (approximately $1,547), available in matte black only.
