Microsoft released a number of firmware and driver updates for a number of its Surface devices today, and those are on top of the ones that came for the Surface Pro with Advanced LTE yesterday. Today"s updates are for the Surface Studio, Book, and Pro 4.

Security bulletin 170012 refers to a vulnerability in TPM that could allow Security Feature Bypass. According to Microsoft"s Value Indicator chart, these updates improve security, reliability, and battery life (yes, battery life, on an all-in-one), and has no effect on connectivity, compatibility, or performance.
