Although we are still a couple days away from the official retail launch of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, it looks like an update is rolling out to both handsets to improve some of its features.
T-Mobile has pushed an update for its Galaxy S9 handsets that comes in at 259.99MB. For the Galaxy S9+, it is showing build versions: G965USQU1ARBG/G965UOYN1ARBG/GS965USQU1ARBG, with the "G965" moniker indicating that this update is designated for the S9+ models. The update should also be rolling out to the Galaxy S9, as build number G960USQU1ARBG, based on this support document from Samsung shows. The software will offer stability improvements for the face unlock feature and will also offer improvements to the camera.
Luckily, the process is relatively painless and takes less than five minutes to download over-the-air and install. Those interested in the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ can still pre-order from their local carrier and retailers, but if you feel like walking into a store, they will arrive to retail locations on March 16.
