Earlier this week, Apple held its annual WWDC event and offered its vision on where it was taking its OSs for its various devices. The firm also announced new products like the HomePod, iMac Pro, and its 10.5-inch iPad Pro. Although the HomePod and iMac Pro are slated to arrive towards the end of the year in December, the iPad Pro is now available for order with shipments expected to arrive starting next week. For those that are looking for another option, T-Mobile will start carrying the iPad Pro starting next week.
The latest iPad Pro offers a brand new 10.5-inch display that is 20% larger than the previous iPad Pro’s 9.7-inch screen. As far as size is concerned, the new tablet maintains roughly the same size as the previous model, with Apple shrinking the bezels surrounding the screen by 40%. The new Retina display is also much brighter at 600 nits, utilizes the p3 color gamut, and supports a faster refresh rate at 120Hz.
As mentioned previously, T-Mobile users will have the option to purchase the iPad Pro online and at retail locations nationwide. Those interested can add the tablet to their existing or start a new T-Mobile ONE service plan for just $20 a month.
