TechEd is an annual conference held by Microsoft for developers and IT professionals. With events held around the world, chances are good that there"s one near you (unlike those pesky "US only" based contests!). Next week, TechEd 2013 begins in New Orleans and we"ll be there live covering the event. The conference runs from June 3-6 at the New Orleans Convention Center.
So what will we be learning about in Louisiana? One thing that we hope to see is Windows Server Blue, but nothing has been formally announced. We also expect to learn more about Microsoft"s virtualization technology, Hyper-V, since it was pushed pretty heavily at the Microsoft Management Summit. It should also be a good time to get some good Windows Phone news, especially as it relates to the enterprise.
The formal list of tracks is:
- Architecture & Trustworthy Computing
- Data Platform & Business Intelligence
- Developer Tools & Application Lifecycle Management
- Modern Datacenter
- Office 365 & Unified Communications
- SharePoint & Enterprise Social
- Windows Azure Application Development
- Windows Client, Access & Management
- Windows Phone
Also, myITForum has created a TechEd 2013 Twitter guide, so if you want to follow the conference that way, you can read it and set your searches appropriately.
What are you looking forward to hearing about next week? And if you"re going to be there, let us know!
