The first episode of Telltale Games adaptation of Marvel"s Guardians of the Galaxy is now available for purchase, staying right on schedule. Titled, Tangled Up in Blue, the episode"s launch trailer was released yesterday, seen above, but be warned as it"s chock-full of story spoilers.
Although sporting the same characters as the 2014 movie, the game series will follow its own original story, set apart from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As is usual with Telltale produced episodic games, it will have five episodes in total, with the remaining four episodes launching throughout the year.
The series description provided by the developer is as follows:
In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of them has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands.
Guardians of the Galaxy Episode One, Tangled Up in Blue, is now available digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and iOS, with its Android version slated for release later this week.
