It"s hard to believe that Android Marshmallow was announced almost four months ago and has yet to arrive on a majority of devices on the market. When we last checked, only 1.2% of Android devices on the market had received Google"s latest update. While the update slowly trickles out to OEMs and is pushed out by carriers, it looks like Canada"s Telus has offered to shed some light on when its customers can expect to see Marshmallow on their devices.
According to a Telus forum post, a handful of handsets will receive the update starting in March. The first wave of handsets, Samsung"s Edge+ and Note 5, will receive the update on March 9th. The update will also arrive on the Galaxy S6 Edge and LG"s G3 the following week on March 16th. The final handset in the lot to receive Marshmallow will be Samsung"s Galaxy S6, which has an expected scheduled date of April 13th.
