In May, the Mi Mini PC was launched on Indiegogo. The portable Windows PC offered a 5-inch display and was priced starting at just $149. Although upgrades have been announced along the way, it looks like the project will be delayed, leaving backers wondering whether this product will arrive by year"s end.
According to a new update, the portable PC will be delayed until November. The firm previously announced that it would be updating the CPU to an Intel m3 processor and as a result, it would have to upgrade the cooling system of the unit. Since it is going from a fanless to a design using fans, the product size will also have to be increased. While the size of the unit will be increased, it will also apparently offer a larger screen size that will come in at six inches.
Along with the larger screen and improved CPU, the unit will offer 16GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will also arrive with a foldable keyboard for those that want to get a bit more work done. While it seems like an exciting product, we will have to wait and find out if it arrives in the newly allotted time.
