Apple changed their home page yesterday saying that an "unforgettable" day was upon us and Rumors speculated that The Beatles would finally be coming to iTunes.
Today, The Beatles songs and albums appeared on iTunes, along with their faces posted across the front page. After years of rumors, pricing disagreements, and even a lawsuit back in 2003 over the logo Apple was using for its iTunes store, an agreement was finally reached.
This marks the first time that The Beatles have made their entire collection available in a digital download. Users can watch rare footage of the fab four, advertisements, and of course download any of their albums for $12.99, or the entire box set for $149.99.
Many Beatles fans will be excited to be able to finally own the work of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr in a digital download.
