When Microsoft first launched the Surface Laptop, the company showed it off in four colors; however, only the model with a Core i5, 8GB RAM, and 256GB of storage was available in Burgundy, Cobalt Blue, and Graphite Gold. A month later, listings for those colors with a Core i7 showed up, only saying that they were coming soon.
But this morning, Neowin discovered that Microsoft had now begun selling the Burgundy and Cobalt Blue Core i7 variants, while the Graphite Gold one still wasn"t available. It seemed odd, as Microsoft hadn"t made any announcements.
Well, it would appear that the company has corrected its mistake, as they"re all back to "coming soon". It"s unclear what"s going to happen if you got your order in - whether Microsoft will refund you, make you wait until these Laptops are actually available, or ship you one - but we"ve reached out to the company for a comment on this.
While the two Windows 10 S-powered devices were available, they would have cost you $2,199, and included a Core i7, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640, 16GB RAM, and 512GB of storage.
