The Crew 2 was unveiled at Ubisoft"s E3 event with a brand new inception style world bending cinematic trailer as well as a gameplay trailer. The game arrives with a completely revamped map of the USA, introducing bikes, boats, and even letting players take to the air with highly agile airplanes in addition to cars this time around.
Players will be able to switch between vehicle types on the fly, with Ubisoft describing the freedom given to the player as follows:
Now you won’t just be able to drive across the Rocky Mountains – you’ll be able to soar through the clouds high above their majestic peaks. You won’t just off-road alongside the mighty Mississippi River, you’ll also speed down its waterways in a powerboat.
There will be plenty of competitions and challenges for players to take on throughout the land, with easy methods for sharing cool moments built into the game. The game includes four motorsports groups to connect with, including "street racers, pro racers, off-road experts, and freestylers".
The Crew 2 will be available in early 2018 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, along with enhanced editions for the Xbox One X as well as the PlayStation 4 Pro systems.
