The Essential PH-1 discounted by $100 only two months after its release

With its estimated sales volume sitting at around 5,000 units as of the end of September, it looks like big chain retailer Best Buy is looking to push more of the Essential handsets out its doors. Now, for a limited time, those interested can save $100 off the retail price of the PH-1.

As you can guess from the image above, the Black Moon variant of the Essential PH-1 is available, priced at $599.99, while the Pure White variant looks to be sold out. The PH-1 was announced towards the end of May but due to undisclosed circumstances, faced a delay in shipping, and saw its retail debut in August.

While there isn"t a clear reason why the handset isn"t selling in vast quantities, it"s good to see that those who have waited will be able to pick one up with a pretty good discount. The PH-1 offers the latest in terms of specifications with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a uniquely shaped near bezel-less display.

If interested, you can head to the source link below. Naturally, it is unknown just how long this discount will last, but typically Best Buy refreshes their prices on Sunday.
