The first six Mega Man games are now available on Android [Update: and now also iOS]

Last month, Capcom announced that it would be bringing its original six Mega Man games to both major mobile operating systems, iOS and Android. While the games are slated for an early-January release, if you"re an iOS user that"s used to getting games first, you"re bound to be disappointed.

All six games are now available in the Google Play Store, at the promised price of $1.99 each. According to Capcom, "Each game has been optimized for the mobile devices with adjustments to game speed."

This isn"t the first time that Capcom has reproduced a way to play the classic NES games. If you were lucky enough to grab an NES Classic, you"ve got Mega Man 2. The firm also sold the complete set as Mega Man: Legacy Collection for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS, and PC.

However, this will be the first time that the games can be played on mobile devices. Naturally, the iOS version of each of them should still be available soon.
