The first Xbox One retail box is pictured off the assembly line

Last week, Microsoft"s head of Xbox Live programming Larry "Hryb" Nelson posted up images of the first shipment boxes of the Xbox One console that are coming off the assembly line well ahead of its November 22nd launch date. Late on Friday, Hryb posted up another Xbox One "first" image, this time of the very first Xbox One retail box that has come off the console"s assembly line.

The image was uploaded to the Major Nelson Twitter account, with Hryb adding that this very box will be heading to the Tokyo Game Show early next week to show to the press corps. This is a regular edition green colored retail box, by the way, and not the "Day One" edition that has a black color.

In related news, the latest edition of the Major Nelson podcast has Hryb chatting briefly with Microsoft Game Studios Phil Spencer, who said that their internal beta testers of the Xbox One are getting access to more games, including the new version of Zoo Tycoon. The podcast also hinted at something special that Microsoft is planning to announce that"s Xbox One related sometime in the next couple of weeks.
