The iBody fitness tracker costs just $25 but has an LED display and a 15 day battery life

Fitness-tracking wirstbands have become more and more popular, with even Microsoft entering the fitness tracking market. The cost of these wristbands has traditionally been somewhat high though which has reduced adoption levels in the wider market. That was, of course, before the Chinese manufacturers caught on to it, and now we have a price-race to the bottom taking place.

Enter the iBody fitness tracker. This $25 wristband costs and does as much as the Xiaomi Mi Band (and the strap appears to have been heavily inspired by it), however, it comes with the addition of a nice large LCD display that shows the time as well as distances the wearer would have jogged. The iBody comes in 7 colorways, starting from the shades of black and grey and moving into a colorful pink, blue, and purple.

A neat feature of the device is that it doesn"t just have to sync to a phone over Bluetooth, but it can also sync directly to a PC over USB. From the documentation provided, it appears that the data is synced to iBody"s cloud server and can be retrieved from any phone or on the web, making it useful for those who have more than one smartphone or no smartphone at all.

Unfortunately there doesn"t appear to be Windows Phone support, however, it supports both iOS and Android, and the latter of the two is most likely the market the product is primarily targeted towards. For those curious, it does in fact support the iOS 8 Health Suite.
