The new Xbox Duke controller will be available at the end of March

During E3 2017, Hyperkin debuted its homage to the original Xbox Duke controller. Although it had the same bulky shape as the original controller, it had the added flair of an OLED display. It didn"t take long for Microsoft to approve the controller for production and now it looks like it will be made available for purchase towards the end of March.

The news comes from Seamus Blackley, who worked on the original Xbox and left Microsoft in 2002, shortly after the console"s release. The product will be released by Hyperkin and will be priced at $69.99.

If you want to see the controller in action, you can check out the video above. Despite the new Duke controller"s looks, it does have some improvements over the original, like a breakaway cord that measures in at nine feet. The controller will be fully compatible with the current Xbox and will also be compatible with Windows 10 PCs.
