The newest Razer Blade 15 comes with the world's first 240Hz OLED screen

Razer today announced the latest variant of its flagship Blade 15 laptop. Besides offering the latest hardware from Intel and Nvidia for peak performance in games and taxing applications, the new Razer Blade 15 has something previously unheard of on the laptop market: a 240Hz OLED display with a 1ms response time.

The display in the Razer Blade 15 is a "never-before-seen" panel with a 1440p resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1ms response time, and 400 nits of typical brightness. Not the brightest option available, but definitely the fastest among other OLED-equipped laptops.

In the guts of the world"s first laptop with a 240Hz OLED display sits the 12th gen Intel Core i9-12900H and the NVIDIA RTX 3070Ti for notebooks. Users also get 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. If the latter is not enough, you can install an additional M2 SSD into a free slot. Connectivity-wise, the Razer Blade 15 has Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A, a full-sized SD reader, and an HDMI port.

If you want to get your hands on the Razer Blade 15 OLED, you still have a few months to make some savings before this laptop goes on sale. Those will come in handy because the upcoming OLED variant of the Blade 15 will set you back $3,499. Razer plans to launch the laptop in Q4 2022, and it will be available in Razer stores, authorized retailers, and razer.com.
