Last week when Microsoft released Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18323 to the Fast ring, it wasn"t made available for ARM64 PCs, and during the team"s webcast this week, it confirmed that this week"s build won"t be any different. There"s a bug that keeps it from being installed correctly, and ARM64 support will come back when the bug is fixed.
Senior PM and "Chief Taco Hat Officer" Jason Howard said, "The build doesn"t install correctly and has the potential to leave the machine in a state that you do not want it in." That"s about all that we know.
Obviously, this is something that likely will get fixed sooner rather than later, as Windows 10 19H1 is in the final stages of development before it gets an RTM build, likely in March, and is released to the public, likely in April. The most recent build finally changes the version number to 1903, and it comes from the 19h1_release branch, rather than rs_prerelease.
Microsoft didn"t provide any specifics for when ARM64 support will be back, or even if it will be back next week, but it will be back eventually.
