YouTube has announced the launch of AdBlitz, an exclusive space that lets you watch the biggest commercials of the year. AdBlitz, returning for its 16th season, is the "premier hub" for Super Bowl ads, and features playlists for "the most comedic, dramatic, action-packed, and inspirational spots."
A Kantar survey suggests that "when excluding those that don"t care about sports or don"t plan to watch the Big Game, 72% rewatch at least some football commercials before or after the game. . . . 74% of football fans visit YouTube multiple times a week." AdBlitz gives people the freedom to watch what they want, when they want, and how they want. Especially around the Super Bowl, this platform offers sports fans the luxury to watch their favorite highlight reels, in-depth game day analysis, and "players-turned-creators" any time of the day.
YouTube and NFL Media have also joined hands to entertain their audiences with "the wackiest plays, biggest bloopers, and laugh-out-loud moments of the season" with NFL Follies. Season one of the comedic highlight series is now out for viewers to stream exclusively on the NFL YouTube channel.
Vice President of NFL Digital Media Business Development, Blake Stuchin stated:
From highlights and game recaps, to exclusive original series, our partnership with YouTube continues to deepen. Every year, we look for innovative ways to excite and entertain our fans around the Super Bowl. Partnering together for YouTube on AdBlitz will provide fans with all the great advertising from the game, including direct access to the NFL spot, including teasers and behind-the-scenes content.
YouTube AdBlitz viewers can watch the first teasers and commercials on the AdBlitz channel right now. They will also be able to check out the NFL"s Super Bowl in-game spot on AdBlitz soon. TurboTax has also uploaded its Super Bowl teasers to AdBlitz for viewers to enjoy.
