After a series of leaks about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8, including colour options and how it fared in a benchmarking test, a new image shared by Slashleaks seems to indicate that the Galaxy S8 has a smaller form factor than the Galaxy S7 edge, despite having a larger display.
As shown in the above image, the Samsung Galaxy S8, the device in the middle, is larger than the iPhone 7, which sports a 4.7" display. However, the S8 manages to fit a 5.8" display into a form factor which is actually smaller than the Galaxy S7 edge on the right, which has a 5.5" screen.
Further images of devices purporting to be the Galaxy S8 also appeared on Weibo. The images, published by Playfuldroid, appear to show the Galaxy S8 in a variety of colours with colour also extending to the front bezel. This conflicts with images leaked last week which indicated that every device would have a black front, regardless of what colour the rest of the device is.
The Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, which will debut Samsung"s Bixby virtual assistant, are expected to be unveiled at Samsung"s "Unpacked" event on March 29th.
