About a month after being released, it appears that retailer Toys"R"Us will restock the SNES Classic Edition this coming Friday.
While this isn"t the first time that a retailer has restocked since the original release date, this new wave will make things a bit easier, since the retail chain has announced a specific date on which you can obtain them. Previously, GameStop announced a couple of weeks ago that it would be getting in shipments on a weekly basis, but never offered firm dates, only urging eager customers to check back with their local shop frequently.
Although the replenishments were indeed welcome, not offering a firm date is a bit of a hassle. With that said, if you are still dying to get your hands on the SNES Classic Edition and don"t want to spend an arm and a leg going through eBay, you"ll want to head to Toys" R"Us on October 27. Although inventory numbers are unknown, you"ll probably want to get there early if you"re looking to secure one.
