Bullfrog Production"s Theme Hospital is one of the most well-known simulation games to ever come out, where players could design their own hospital to take care of patients with a wide range of comical ailments. More than 20 years later, the game is getting a spiritual sequel titled Two Point Hospital, being built by the minds behind the original.
The announcement trailer is seen above, which focuses on an individual who has come down with a severe case of ‘Light-Headedness," in the literal sense. Judging by the trailer, the game is certainly following in the footsteps of the original.
Two Point Studios heads the game"s development, an indie studio co-created by Mark Webley and Gary Carr of Bullfrog and Lionhead Studios fame. Meanwhile, Sega will be handling the game"s publishing burdens.
The game"s newly established Steam store page describes its features as follows:

Once you’ve conquered the world with your medical empire, contribute to Two Point County’s global medical community with collaborative research projects, or demonstrate your medical prowess in competitive multiplayer challenges.
Two Point Hospital does not have an exact release date just yet, but the developer plans to launch via Steam and the Sega Store sometime later this year. The game"s official website is this way, offering some free in-game goodies for signing up.
