For the past couple of months, we have heard rumor after rumor about what Samsung might be concocting for its next flagship handset, the Galaxy S8. But what was often missing with those rumors was a physical piece of evidence giving us an actual glimpse of the handset. It now appears that we might have our first real look at a part of the S8.
What you see above is an alleged display piece from the Galaxy S8. If the components are real, it would back up the rumor that Samsung is planning to release two different sized curved display handsets. While the rest of the parts aren"t in place, the thin bezels above and below the screen leave little room for a physical home button which could be removed.
Mobile World Congress is still a few weeks away, but it has been rumored that Samsung will not hold an event in Barcelona, but will instead show off the Galaxy S8 at a private event scheduled for April in New York.

Update: Android Police has spoken with the person who leaked these images, who clarified that they are "tempered glass screen protectors" made by a third party for the Galaxy S8, not original components of the device. However, they are believed to be genuine accessories, offering some idea of what to expect from the new Samsung device.
