We are just a day away from the retail release of the iPhone X and it looks like Caviar, known for its more ostentatious offerings, is now throwing its hat into the ring, and offering its own take on Apple"s latest handset.
The iPhone X Tesla isn"t drenched in gold but does manage to up the ante by offering up a whole new backplate for the model that can harvest rays from the sun and turn it into energy. Yes, it has solar panels on the back that are embedded into the rear of the handset. In order to keep things a bit luxurious, the firm has lined the outer rim of the phone with 24K gold and also adds an embossed plate that lets people know you aren"t using a mere $999 handset from Apple.
If interested, the handset will cost 259,000 Rubles, which is around $4,500 USD. If this is a bit much, you can still purchase a standard version of the iPhone X from an Apple retail store or wireless carrier starting at $999 when it makes its retail debut on November 3.
