Huawei has finally debuted its Android Wear device, the Huawei Watch. Although it won"t win any awards for having the most original title, it is possibly one of the most attractive Android Wear watches to make its debut in 2015.
The Huawei Watch will come in three colors: silver, black, and gold. The bezel will be produced of stainless steel and the band will come in either leather or stainless steel. The device will have a full circle 1.4" AMOLED display with a resolution of 400 x 400, bringing the screen in at 286ppi. The screen will be protected by a sapphire crystal, which is commonly found on high-end watches.
Naturally, the Huawei Watch will also have the an array of sensors similar to what can be found on other smartwatches. The watch will have a gyroscope, accelerometer, PPG, mic and barometer. The watch will also be water resistant and be able to charge via a magnetic docking station. Lastly, the Huawei Watch will run on Android Wear and be powered by a Qualcomm APQ8026 1.2GHz processor, 512MB RAM, and have 4GB of storage space. Huawei has not announced a price or release date.
