This Weekend’s PC Game Deals is a roundup of games – old, new, or soon to be released – that are available at a great price and can be activated on Steam, Origin, or Uplay – sometimes even good old games that are DRM-free.
Just like last week, we have to remind you that the Humble Store currently has a deal for the passionate gamers who want to subscribe to their monthly package of gems for just $12/month. The subscription is called “Humble Monthly”, and if you subscribe before May 5, you’ll get a copy of Mad Max (currently $17.03 on Games Planet) as part of the first bundle, as well as a 10% discount on all purchases for as long as you stay subscribed.
If you are a big fan of the Homeworld franchise, you can have the entire Homeworld Remastered Collection and more for as little as $12 as part of “Glen’s Bundle” - but act quickly, as the offer will end on April 19.
Another interesting deal on Humble Bundle this weekend is the “Telltale Bundle”, which actually runs through April 26. The first tier can be unlocked for just $1, and includes games such as Back to the Future and The Walking Dead: Season 1. If you spend more than the average ($8.12 as of the moment of writing this article), you can get access to the excellent Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us, among other interesting titles.
If you feel like spending $12 or more, you’ll be treated with a copy of Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead: Season 2. Furthermore, you’d be contributing greatly to supporting two awesome charities: Direct Relief and Girls Who Code.
Ubisoft has recently kicked off its annual spring sale, which will last through April 27. For those of you who happen to live in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Oceania, the Uplay Store will offer discounts of up to 75% on various titles from popular Ubisoft franchises, such as the Assassin’s Creed series, Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal, The Crew: Wild Run, the Splinter Cell series, Watch_Dogs, the Anno series, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and Trials Fusion.
The sale will feature flash deals (every 48 hours) and week-long deals, and if you jump on the download of the moment (which is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege for this weekend), Ubisoft says you’ll also get a special extra, although more details about that are not yet available. If you’re a collector interested in physical items, you’ll be glad to hear that there are discounts available for those too.
There are also plenty of other PC game deals available this week, but we’ve made a selection of titles that are either available at the lowest price since release, or somewhat close to the lowest price point. Some of them are flash sales, such as the Grand Theft Auto Collection (*doesn’t include GTA V). Also note that the Direct2Drive offer is only available to those of you who live in the EU.
