Alongside the recent Ubisoft Forward games showcase, the publisher ran a giveaway for its hacking-centric open-world title Watch Dogs 2, offering a free PC copy to anyone who tuned in. However, as tens of thousands began joining to catch the event, login issues plagued the giveaway systems - and Uplay as a whole -, leaving many viewers without their free copy.
To rectify the situation, Ubisoft has opted to re-offer the game even outside of the event, now giving everyone with a Uplay account another chance to grab the freebie, even if they were unable to log in to Uplay or Twitch Drops originally.
Due to the continued login issues during the show, we will be rewarding everyone with a Ubisoft account with the goods we planned to distribute during #UbiForward. Please register here to claim the rewards -> https://t.co/ZGvpvxhqaz You should now be able to log in as normal.

As the above tweet states, logging into the newly set up Ubisoft Forward Rewards portal will register Uplay users for a copy of Watch Dogs 2. It"s unclear how long this new offer will last, so anyone interested should make haste before it expires. Keep in mind that the game may take some time to show up on Uplay libraries afterward.
Several other cosmetic rewards for Ubisoft games that were also a part of the Forward stream will be given away through the same system.
Ubisoft will be hosting another Forward event later this year to announce more of its upcoming games, though a date has not been set just yet. As for the highlights from the first showcase, the publisher revealed new information on Watch Dogs: Legion, Assassin"s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and Hyper Scape.
