Respawn Entertainment has decided to open the beta of its first game, "Titanfall," for all Xbox One users beginning Saturday night. Additionally, the beta period has extended to at least Wednesday.
The decision was announced on Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb"s official blog, which noted that "some [Xbox Live] members may see it before others," though all will be able to download the beta soon. As a result of the open beta, users will no longer be required to have a key to access the title; instead, it will now be found in the demos section.
Vince Zampella, co-founder of Respawn, said the decision to open the beta was made to stress test the servers, which ran into problems yesterday, causing users to be unable to access matches.
Ok, just heard from @jonshiring. His words are "Let"s break it", so the plan is to make the beta fully open and have you max stress it!

The beta will now end no sooner than Wednesday, as Respawn chose to extend the testing because of the server problems, Zampella said. Additionally, Zampella said the PC beta of the game will be opened at a later time, likely on Sunday.
