Today could be the day one man reaches the 1 million Xbox Live Gamerscore mark

"Stallion83" is very, very close to that 1 million Xbox Live Gamerscore mark.

The man who set out to get a 1 million Gamerscore by playing games for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Games for Windows and Windows Phone could finally reach and exceed that mark later today. Ray Cox IV, who goes by the gamertag "Stallion83" and is already the person with the highest ever Xbox Live Gamerscore, will be making the final push to that achievement very soon.

Cox originally thought he was going to get past the 1 million Gamerscore mark on Monday. He attended the official Titanfall launch party in Austin, Texas, as Microsoft"s guest with the idea of reaching that mark, but in the end he was unable to get to his goal before he had to go back to his home in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Now Cox has posted the work on his Twitter page that today will likely be the day that 1 million Gamerscore goal is achieved. He will offer a live video stream of his final push on his Twitch page.

After 8 years, 3 months, 19 days I think today is the day.

In November, as part of Microsoft"s Xbox One launch festivities, Microsoft honored Cox for his previous achievements by giving him two items; a rare white Xbox One launch team console and a box that contained the first ever lifetime Xbox Live Gold membership.
