Toshiba release gaming laptop with 3 GPUs

Toshiba isn"t the first company most people think of when you"re imagining an ideal gaming laptop, but this latest news might just change your mind. The Qosmio X305-Q708 is Toshiba"s brand new laptop, featuring not two, but three Nvidia GPUs, in addition to an already powerful setup. Two Nvidia GeForce 9800M GTS graphics cards accompany the 9400M GPU. This, in addition to an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9300 processor (at the stock speed of 2.56 GHz) and 4GB of PC3-8500 DDR3 1066MHz SDRAM make it insanely fast.

The 7,200rpm hard drive offering 320GB of space, whilst fast, may be a little restrictive for those who store masses of games and videos, but otherwise should be more than adequate. The primary hard drive is 128GB and Solid State too, which saves power and keeps it quiet.

Whilst this powerhouse might offer quite possibly the most performance for a personal laptop, the price tag is a little less appealing, currently available from ToshibaDirect at $4199.99. Also, despite the power saving abilities, don"t start getting ideas about playing Crysis for hours on end without a power cable plugged in somewhere - battery life will still be devoured if you use it to its max with no external power. However, for those who want ultimate mobile performance, and a plethora of features with it, the Qosmio X305-Q708 is the solution. Check out the laptop through the link below:
