Toyota's new commercial has Street Fighter's Ryu at the wheel of a brand new C-HR

There are an infinite number of ways to advertise a vehicle, but in Japan, Toyota has partnered with Capcom to present Ryu driving his new C-HR crossover around the world.

The commercial, which is set in the fictional world of Street Fighter, has Ryu traveling in his brand new Toyota C-HR to familiar locations. During his driving adventure, he is able to visit his fellow rivals like Ken, E. Honda, Guile, Blanka, and more in their respective stage locations. Unfortunately, the fun stops at the hands of Vega (or M.Bison outside of Japan), and a battle ensues.

While Vega kicks off his signature trademark moves like the "Double Knee Press", "Psycho Crusher", and the "Head Press", the Toyota CH-R stays composed countering with its own hood pop and headlight laser beam. These moves eventually defeat Vega, allowing Ryu to exclaim that he had a "good drive, requesting the CH-R to ride with him again".
