Tuesday has arrived and with it comes a new batch of daily, two day and longer sales periods for a select number of PC games. We start the day by checking out the Steam PC game download service. That site is in the middle of its week long sale of games from Electronic Arts. From now until 1 pm Eastern time on Wednesday you can purchase and download three PC versions of games in the Need For Speed racing series.
The sales include Need for Speed Undercover for just $2.50 along with the more sim-oriented game Need For Speed Shift for just $6.80. Finally you can get the 2010 released open world arcade racing game Need for Speed Hot Pursuit via Steam for just $14.99 on Steam. In addition, Steam has a "Midweek Madness" sale for the great PopCap tower defense game Plants vs Zombies. From now until 7 pm Eastern time on Thursday you can get the Game of the Year edition for a mere $3.40. Not only that but if you buy the game and also own Valve"s multiplayer shooter Team Fortress 2 you can get two free Plants Vs Zombies inspired in game hats for use in Team Fortress 2.
Meanwhile the Direct2Drive web site has a week long sale of several PC games from Capcom. They include games like Dead Rising 2 for $19.95, Street Fighter IV for $14.95 and Age of Booty for a mere $4.95. Direct2Drive also has three casual games (Braid, Sparkle and Youda Sushi Chef) on sale for today only for $1.99 each. Checking in on the Impulse PC game download site shows the somewhat odd looking game TV Manager 2 is on sale for today only for just $7.49.
Finally do you want a free game? Of course you do. Amazon.com has the original Diner Dash casual game, normally priced at $6.99, on sale for today only for the price of nothing at all. Yep, it"s free.
