Along with Halo Infinite gameplay, a Fable reboot, the next big RPG from Obisidian, Avowed - as well as the Peril on Gorgon DLC for The Outer Worlds - and even State of Decay 3, the Xbox Games Showcase also featured something we expected: Forza Motorsport.
Coming from the usual dev house that is Turn 10, the new title made its debut via a teaser trailer captured entirely in-engine. Showcasing varied customization, and of course, the confirmed ray tracing support, the upcoming Forza Motorsport seems to be a reboot of sorts, with the emphasis on a "connected and dynamic world", and 4K 60FPS support being confirmed by the studio.
There is no release date attached, though it will be coming to Xbox Series X, Windows 10, and of course Game Pass on launch. Coming to Series X when it launches is also a version of Forza Horizon 4 that"s optimized for next-gen and guarantees 60FPS at 4K resolution. Needless to say, it"s a free update via Smart Delivery for all owners and Game Pass subscribers.
