Earlier this month, Lazywormapps announced that their Tweetro app had hit the 100,000 Twitter client user limit, effectively rendering the app useless. They promptly got in touch with Twitter and began talks to get the issue resolved.
A couple of days later, Lazywormapps reported that their talks were unsuccessful and that Twitter’s was response was short and anything but sweet, stating that the Tweetro app
…does not qualify for exemption
With the possibility that a paid-for Tweetro app would have to be released in place of the now non-operational free one, it’s been announced via the Tweetro app Twitter account that Tweetro+ has been submitted to Microsoft for certification.
Tweetro+ has been submitted to Microsoft for certification! Hopefully not much longer to wait..

The one negative effect is that current free users will have to pay for the app to continue using it, as confirmed by Lazywormapps co-founder Atta Elayyen. There is still no word on price for the app, but we shouldn’t have to wait too long before all is revealed.
