Uber One membership launched for frequent users with limited time offer

The ride-hailing and food delivery firm, Uber, has launched a new subscription service called Uber One. The subscription for Uber One will set you back $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year but if you sign up by November 29, you’ll be able to claim a limited time offer which cuts 50% of the cost of the yearly plan.

With Uber One membership, you’ll benefit in a number of ways. The first perk is member pricing which will deduct 5% off the total bill for eligible rides and orders on food, groceries, alcohol, and more. Next up is priority service where Uber One members will be paired with top-rated drivers and get $5 in Uber Cash if the Latest Arrival estimate (shown after an order is placed) on deliveries is wrong.

The third benefit is unlimited free deliveries on eligible orders over $15 and grocery orders over $30. Finally, members will receive premium member support, special offers and promotions, plus invite-only experiences.

Commenting on the offer, Awaneesh Verma, head of Membership, said:

“With one membership across the entire Uber platform, Uber One is set to provide value for our members beyond savings. Uber One will help navigate everyday life with support, access and special perks, such as ongoing invitations to join cooking classes, concerts, and more.”

To get started with Uber One, head over to the Uber or Uber Eats app and tap on your Account icon in the upper right-hand corner then press Uber One. You’ll be shown the benefits of membership and then you can choose whether you want to subscribe monthly or annually. Don’t forget, though, if you sign up by November 29, you will be able to pay just $49.99 this year.
