Ubisoft took to the stage at its E3 briefing today to announce Trials Rising, a new entry in the popular motorbiking series which sees players navigate through intricate tracks while trying to keep their bike on its wheels.
Trials Rising will take players to various tracks based on real-world locations and offer more tracks than any previous game in the series. You can compete for the highest score in the online leaderboards and take challenges form in-game sponsors to progress through the game. It"ll be possible to compete against other people"s ghost times in single-player mode, but the game also offers multiplayer modes, both locally and online.
The most interesting addition is the new "tandem mode", in which two players split the control of the same bike as they try to make it through the game"s tracks, requiring great cooperation between the two.
Customization also plays a role in the game, as players will be able to change the look of both riders and bikes in the game, and those custom designs can be shared with other players. Should anyone choose to use one of the your custom designs, you might earn rewards.
Trials Rising is coming to all major platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, and it"s scheduled for February 2019, but you can register for the closed beta right now.
