Ubisoft details Ghost Recon Breakpoint's PC exclusive features

The next entry in the Ghost Recon franchise, Breakpoint, is now a couple of months away from launch, and today Ubisoft has decided to detail what exclusive features will be available on the PC version.

Ubisoft explicitly says Ghost Recon Breakpoint will have full PC optimizations, and that there will be an Ultra Graphics mode that will push current hardware to the limit. Of course, all graphics settings will be adjustable as usual, and the same goes for the controls.

Unlike the Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro console versions which will carry upscaled 4K support, the PC version will come with native 4K support and also touts uncapped frame rates. Meanwhile, the developer has partnered with AMD this time to make use of its new FidelityFX sharpening technology, among other optimizations.

Ultrawide and multimonitor support are included as well, and Ubisoft is planning to ship a standalone PC benchmark soon for players to see how their rig performs before jumping into the game.

There"s a couple of more interesting additions as well. Tobii eye tracking is being implemented to be used in both gameplay and menus. Discord Rich Presence is also a feature, which will let players live update what they are doing in-game on their Discord status.

Ubisoft hasn"t announced the PC system requirements for the game yet, which is planned to drop at the end of August. Ghost Recon Breakpoint is slated to launch on October 4 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia. Sign-ups for the game"s upcoming beta is available here.
