Ubisoft E3 2019 presentation slated for June 10

Ubisoft confirmed today that it will be returning to E3 this year on June 10 for its annual press briefing, with it kicking off at 1pm PT. Just like last year, the short announcement arrived through the company"s official Twitter account.

There haven"t been any hints as to what the company is prepping to reveal at this year"s show. A new Assassin"s Creed game announcement is out of the cards until next year, and the company has already released new entries to some of its existing franchises this year such as The Division 2, Far Cry: New Dawn, and Trials Rising. Anno 1800, meanwhile, will be coming next month.

Games that have been shown off in previous Ubisoft E3 presentations, like Skull & Bones and Beyond Good and Evil 2, which have not received solid release dates yet should make appearances this year as well.

Speculating on what the company might reveal, a new Splinter Cell is not unlikely, considering Ghost Recon Wildlands had Sam Fisher himself (voiced by Michael Ironside) coming into a special crossover mission last year. New reveals for the Watch Dogs and Ghost Recon franchises are also a possibility.

Also, the company said recently that it is expanding the partnership it has with the Epic Games Store. This might mean the PC versions of any new games announced at E3 will be skipping a Steam release, much like The Division 2 did.

While Ubisoft is getting back on the stage, Sony has elected to pull out of E3 this year, while EA won"t be holding a press conference. Meanwhile, Microsoft and Bethesda are confirmed to be coming back.
