While Chuwi kept itself pretty busy during 2017, it looks like the firm has no desire to slow things down this year, as it just recently announced the SurBook Pro, Hi9 Air, and GBox Pro during CES 2018. The three devices will undoubtedly trickle to retailers over the coming months, but in the meantime, the firm"s latest Android tablet, the Hi9, is now available to purchase.
The Hi9 is being touted as a gaming tablet that is powered by a MediaTek MTK8173 SoC with PowerVR GX6250 that is coupled with 4GB of RAM. The unit also offers an 8.4-inch IPS display that has a resolution of 2560 x 1600. Despite its impressive specifications, the tablet still comes loaded with Android 7.0 and utilizes a Micro USB port for charging and data transfer.
Over the course of the week, we will be putting this tablet through its paces, to see whether it can live up to its reputation as a gaming device. For now, please enjoy the quick unboxing video and if you have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the comments down below.
